Curious to read the follow-up on DR licensing. I have customers (who shall remain nameless) that have a server sitting in a closet, unplugged, in the dark, with the OS and Progress installed. Every 6 months they boot it up, to see if there are any critters inside, for about 20 minutes. I wonder if they are violating their licenses ?
Almost certainly yes if the licences are not named user. If it is concurrent or CPU based licensing then they have installed single server Progress licences on multiple boxes.
