Question/Problem Description
PROLOG returns "You do not have a log file", but the lg file does exist in the correct location
The database .lg file is in the database working directory, where the .db file is located
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
Behaviour occurs both with PROLOG run against an offline database, and with PROLOG run as prolog -online
Error MessageYou do not have a log file -- <path-to-database/database-name>.lg

Enhancement Number
Cause
Database lg file is over 2GB in size.

This is a regression issue, PROLOG should be able to truncate lg files that are larger than 2GB, since OpenEdge 10.2B and later, OpenEdge Service Packs 10.1C04 and 10.2A01 where database lg files exceeding 2GB can be truncated online or offline with the PROLOG utility which has been made aware of 2 GB database lg file
Resolution
Upgrade to OpenEdge Release 11.7.6 or later.
Upgrade to OpenEdge Release 12.1 or later.
Workaround
Refer to the Workarounds described in Article  Truncating a 2GB database lg file with PROLOG fails

Note:  This issue may also cause clients connected to a database when the log file hits 4GB to be disconnected.
Refer to article Clients report error (2257) and are disconnected when database log hits 4,294,967,487 on Windows.
