Question/Problem Description
Uninstalling Shared Network installation removes ODBC drivers from the main (server) OpenEdge installation

When Progress ODBC drivers are uninstalled, the following files disappear from DLC\bin on the main server installation:

pgicu27.dll
PGODBC.LIC
pgoe27.dll
pgoe27r.dll
pgssl27.dll
pgtrc27.dll


Only files are deleted; registry information, ODBC DSNs referencing the drivers, etc. remain in place.
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
Used UNC path for netsetup installation.

Used Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a program to remove the Shared Network installation.

Enhancement Number
Cause
The NetSetup uninstall routine erroneously paths to the network mapped drive files instead of the local netsetup .dll's 
Resolution
Upgrade to OpenEdge 11.6.1.0, 11.7.0 or later where the main (server) install is no longer affected by the NetSetup uninstall routine 
Workaround
On the main (server) OpenEdge installation, backup the ODBC driver files located in DLC\bin:

pgicu27.dll
PGODBC.LIC
pgoe27.dll
pgoe27r.dll
pgssl27.dll
pgtrc27.dll

Restore the ODBC driver files to the original location once Shared Network Installations have been uninstalled.
