1. Progress / OpenEdge documentation can be downloaded as ZIP files.

First go to the Progress Support Resources page located at:

http://www.progress.com/support-and-services/support-services/Support%20Guide

Select the "OpenEdge" link in the "Documentation" section.
Left click the version of the documentation required.
A download dialog will pop-up requesting where to save the file.

.zip files allow the entire documentation set to be downloaded in PDF or HTML format. Otherwise, links are provided to access the documentation from your Browser.
Since OpenEdge 12, only PDF format of the entire documentation set is available.
Starting in OpenEdge 12.0, technical product content can be found on the OpenEdge Information Hub

For extremely important updates to product documentation in between product releases the following link may be used: https://community.progress.com/community_groups/openedge_general/w/openedgegeneral/1506.announcement-updates-to-openedge-product-documentation-in-between-releases (Unless the issue is extremely critical the majority of updates will be provided in the OpenEdge Information Hub)

2. For versions earlier than 12.0, customers who have purchased OpenEdge, the corresponding version of the documentation can also be downloaded from the Progress Download Center (ESD), on the same page where the product download is found.
