The SonicMQ Adapter (BrokerConnect) is missing within the OpenEdge Explorer / Management on certain 64-bit UNIX/Linux platforms

The SonicMQ Adapter (BrokerConnect) is missing within the OpenEdge Explorer / Management on certain 64-bit UNIX/Linux platforms.
Unable to manage the SonicMQ Adapter (BrokerConnect) on some of the 64-bit UNIX / Linux platforms.
The AdminServer log file reports that the SonicMQAdapter plugin is not licensed.

The issue is seen when one of the following server licenses, which is supposed to contain the SonicMQ Adapter (BrokerConnect), is installed:
OpenEdge Application Server - Basic
OpenEdge Application Server - Enterprise
OpenEdge DataServer for Oracle
OpenEdge Development Server
OpenEdge Enterprise RDBMS
OpenEdge Personal RDBMS
OpenEdge Workgroup RDBMS

The OpenEdge installation is 64-bit.
It is possible to manage the SonicMQ Adapter using the adaptman command-line utility.
The issue is not seen when the 4GL Development System license has been installed.

The progress.cfg was missing the SonicMQ Adapter license bit for some of the OpenEdge 64-bit licenses.

For the AIX64 platform upgrade to OpenEdge 11.0 or later where the installation process now enables the SonicMQ Adapter license bit.

A similar fix will be available for the other UNIX / Linux 64-bit platforms in a future OpenEdge release.
 

The SonicMQ Adapter (BrokerConnect) should be available with the following server licenses:

OpenEdge Application Server - Basic
OpenEdge Application Server - Enterprise
OpenEdge DataServer for Oracle
OpenEdge Development Server
OpenEdge Enterprise RDBMS
OpenEdge Personal RDBMS
OpenEdge Workgroup RDBMS
