The only port that should need to be open for use of the WebServices Adapter is the port specified for use by the Java Servlet Engine (JSE) to host the WSA service.

This port must be open bi-directionally.
This port is typically configurable within the various JSE products (JRun, TomCat, New Atlanta, etc).
