Replicating data between different platforms using OpenEdge Replication or Replication Plus is supported when the following conditions exist and criteria met.

The source and target server machines for OpenEdge Replication must have:
  • The same bitness (e.g. 32Bit or 64Bit OpenEdge editions)
  • The same OpenEdge version (e.g. OpenEdge 10.1B Enterprise RDBMS)
  • The same Endianness (byte ordering format)
