ODBC and JDBC SSL functionality is supported in 10.1C of OpenEdge. OpenEdge 10.1C contains the 5.3 drivers from DataDirect which are the first revision of drivers where SSL functionality is supported. This is confirmed by the documentation changes to the OpenEdge SQL Developers Guide with the SSL switches.
