For any interactive install that has been performed a response.ini file is generated and saved in the DLC/install/ directory for both UNIX and Windows.

On Windows a second copy is also created in the C:\Windows\ directory and is named "oe_response.ini".  However, this file is for the last OE install performed on the machine and if there are multiple versions of OpenEdge installed, it will only match the last install performed.

The response.ini file may be used for additional identical Silent installs, modified or used as an example to create a new response.ini files to perform Silent installs of OE products on other machines.

For additional information about Silent Installs and creating response.ini files refer to the Installation and Configuration Guide for the proper Platform.
