Question/Problem Description

A client process (For each) loops infinitely on certain records.
Idxfix loops with a repeated (8828) message.

Steps to Reproduce

Clarifying Information

Database is not crashed, and users can still work. But when users try to access the affected records, the hanging behaviour (looping on the (8828) message) occurs.
Writes of the (8828) into the lg file increase the lg to gigabytes in size.

Error Message	Index <index number> (<owner name>.<table name>, <index neme>): Deleted key <key value> recid <record identifier>. (8828)

Index corruption.

Rebuild the affected index(es) using idxbuild.
