Is it possible to remove a database area or extent online?

Is it possible to remove a database extent online?
Can a database Area be removed by removing all extents in the area while the database is running?
Is it possible to use PROSTRCT REMOVE to delete a database extent from the database structure online?
Can online database structure changes with PROSTRCT ADDONLINE be reverted online?

Although adding extents online was introduced in OpenEdge 10.1A and adding extents online to a target replication enabled database since OpenEdge 10.1B, any Storage Area/Extent type cannot be removed online only offline.

The database must first be shutdown and the before-image file successfully truncated before prostrct remove can be used to delete extents from the database structure.
