As long as the operating system supports the SSD drive and the operating system is certified for use with the version of OpenEdge that is installed, Progress has no concerns or issues with the use of SSD drives.

On Linux systems, it is suggested to use Linux TRIM function, preferably on a schedule instead of running it continuously, as discussed here:
